![]() The staff are impeccable, friendly, informed and helpful. The room are in the Italianate Baroque style. It's is in a cul-de-sac, that makes it feel very private, as few people go down it. The hotel has plenty of seating outside and in to enjoy the view anyway. We chose a room without a view which not only saved money, but made us go out and enjoy the city. When our room was ready our baggage already there, along with a bottle of prosecco on ice, and hand written note wishing us a happy 35th wedding anniversary. Thank heavens for Google maps! Coming back around midday our room was still not ready, which gave us the opportunity to drink Aperol Spritz - the drink of Venice on the Hotels balcony while watching the water traffic on the Grand Canal by. So we dropped our bags off and headed off to explore and get lost in Venice for the first and not the last time over the next 4 days we were there. We got to the hotel very early - 9ish and our room wasn't ready, only to be expected. We felt quite the film stars! Our welcome was incredible. If you can afford the €130 25 minutes journey, and are new to the city like us, it's amazing introduction. The bedroom style is relatively traditional, not everyone likes it, but the price is really super cost-effective in a four-star hotel. The toilet has undergone a visible renovation. Venice City Center Venice |1.71km from city center This is a super cost-effective hotelįirst of all, if you don't like old fashioned hotel style, then don't choose him. Sky bar gives excellent views over Venice and bar staff very friendly. Never ate in the hotel, so cannot comment. Also a lot of mould in shower Not that I watch a lot of Tv, but only 3 English channels, 2 news programs Take plenty of bug spray, as lots of bugs in the hotel and they bite a lot Good shuttle into St Marks, every 30mins, only takes 39 pax at a time, so beware at busy times. ![]() The suit was large and tidy, but overall it looked dated & tiered Plenty storage Bathroom was large with Bath & shower, problems with them draining. After checking in at 3pm we went to the room, 3rd floor, take something to leave a trail as there are many corridors to navigate to get to the room. Got access to the executive lounge and to say I was disappointed is an understatement, looks like a corridor off the main lounge, as there was no solid divider the noise was too much, have used Hilton brand around the world and as a past Diamond member, was left disappointed with this one. Unable to check in till 3pm which was unfortunate. Arrived at 11am as we just came off a cruise. Venice City Center Venice |1.45km from city center Had a 2 night stay booked in the Hilton Stucky, in a Club room, Venice.
